The Meaning of Beauty

Beauty can be anything
Beauty can be anywhere
Not only in your golden silky hair
Beauty can be found anywhere in this world
It just matters where you look
It could be a blooming rose or the touching words in a book

Beauty can simply be the honesty of a close binding
Beauty can be the feelings of sorrow, joy, or fear
Or beauty can be the wonderful sounds we have the power to hear
The power of a lightning,
A raging thunderstorm,
Those are all a shard of beauty, just at a different form

Beauty can be the way of the people or
The height of a church steeple
Beauty can be the lavish sunset
And the light of the moon shining upon us till the end
Beauty can be anywhere…
It’s all in our hands... the way we see it

And when we want to… later or soon
People expect beauty to be based on looks,
But the truth is; the most beautiful things can be found in cramped, dusty nooks.
Gloss and polish, powder and lipstick,
Those are not important, in fact too much of that will make you sick!
We were born with our looks, - we can’t change that,

But inside, all of us can be more than a stylish, obnoxious brat.
We are what we do,
Even if we start an animal shelter or help someone with the flu
We are all beautiful, in one way or another
It just matter where we look- outside or in each other.
